The Order Process
From Click to Delivery — How We Make It Easy
Ordering custom workwear shouldn’t be complicated.
At W18 Workwear, we’ve created a clear, step-by-step process that makes ordering your embroidered or printed uniforms quick, transparent, and hassle-free.
Everything is handled in-house, from design to delivery, so you always know exactly what to expect.
step 1
Choose Your Garment
Start by selecting your garment type, colour, size and quantity. Every product page includes all available variations and detailed descriptions, helping you choose what fits your team best.
step 2
Add Your Customisation
Once you’ve chosen your garments, click “Add Customisation.” You’ll then select whether you want to personalise your order with Text or a Logo, and choose your preferred decoration type — Embroidery or Print (DTF).
step 3
Add Text or Upload Logo
For text:
- Type your wording (up to 3 lines)
- Choose font size, style and colour
- Position it where you want it to appear
For logo:
- Upload your file if it’s your first time ordering
- Returning customers can choose from previously paid and approved logos
- The same logo can be reused free of charge as long as the size remains the same
Unsure how to prepare your artwork? Check our Artwork Guidelines before uploading.
step 4
Select Placement and Decoration Type
Choose where your design should go — front, back, chest, sleeve or cap.
Confirm your decoration method: Embroidery for a classic stitched look, or DTF Print for vibrant, full-colour detail.
Not sure which method is best? Visit our Embroidery or Print pages for a comparison.
step 5
Proof and Approval
Before production begins, all embroidery orders go through a proofing stage.
Once your design is digitised, we’ll send you a visual proof via email showing exactly how your logo will look when stitched.
We’ll wait for your confirmation before starting production — so nothing goes to print or embroidery until you’re happy.
For DTF printing, you’ll see your visual preview live while placing your order.
step 6
Production
After approval, we move straight to production.
Your order is created in our own UK facility, using professional-grade embroidery and printing equipment.
Each garment is checked carefully for alignment, accuracy, and finish before packing.
Important Note
On-screen previews are indicative only.
Final positioning follows our standard production guidelines and may vary depending on garment size.
